The entrance to a jewelry store in the heart of downtown Charlotte Amalie is probably the last place you’d expect to see a sign promoting “Wine Tasting.” But at Artistic Jewelers on Main Street, that intriguing invitation is exactly what you’ll find.

Step inside and prepare to be amazed by the creative concept this family-owned enterprise has added to its overall appeal — including your very own personal wine tasting experience at the all-new 88 Bottles.

In business since 1977, Artistic has long prided itself on first-rate customer service. Specializing in loose diamonds, gemstones, custom creations and more, you also are sure to enjoy selecting timepieces from distinguished names such as Ebel, Fendi, Concord, and Versace.

With visionary Company President, Max Daswani, at the helm, the celebrated shop recently reinvented itself by expanding the inventory to please gourmet food and wine lovers, too.

Located at the far end of Artistic Jewelers, 88 Bottles features a  flavorful world of wonders — ranging from limited barrel production wines from Napa Valley and France to chocolate delicacies, Italian nougat, stuffed olives and tamponades, boozy jams, infused almonds, truffle chips, Himalayan pink salt, alcoholic coffee, chai tea, rum balls, and cakes.

Custom baskets are a specialty at 88 Bottles. What wonderful gift ideas for every occasion!

The positive energy and influence of the 88 Bottles team — which extends far beyond the walls of the shop — includes the effervescent Promotions Manager, Meagan Bryan.

Several savvy restaurants are now pouring wine from the 88 Bottles collection, including Virgilio’s. Said Virgilio’s proprietor, Matthew Richardson, “Some of our customers who really know their California wines have been happily surprised to see that we carry Aonair limited barrel production wine,” he said.

88 Bottles also benefits from the talents and direction of award-winning Executive Chef Deven Sadarangani who won the most votes at the St. Thomas Master Chefs Throwdown II in August of 2021 and took first runner-up at the Ultimate Master Chef finale in December.

In addition to gourmet delights, 88 Bottles also carries cookbooks, protection salts, body scrubs, and soy candles.

Keep in mind, custom gift baskets may include any combination of items from 88 Bottles, as well as watches and sparkling adornments from Artistic Jewelers.
