A brand-new trend-setting retail operation recently opened on St. Thomas. Welcome to Calypso Trading Co.

This enticing 2,200 sq. ft. enterprise with the lilting name and upbeat ambiance is located in Buccaneer Mall directly across from Port of Sale in Havensight.

A BIT ABOUT CRUZAN RUM

Beginning in 1760 with the establishment of Estate Diamond where the rum is made today,  the island of St. Croix became home to the legendary rum. In 1950, Cedric “Ceddie” Nelthropp joined Cruzan Rum. With deep roots on St. Croix, the Nelthropp family became synonymous with Cruzan Rum. In 2007, Gary Nelthropp took over as Master Distiller. Said Nelthropp, “Cruzan is not just about making rum, it’s also about tradition and family.”
