For more than three decades, proprietor Gigi Quetel has lovingly nurtured Forever Flowers in Frenchtown.

As a full service florist, the popular enterprise in Demarara Plaza invites island residents and visitors to stop by the shop, check out the comprehensive website, or call for delivery service.

In addition to floral arrangements to brighten your day, Forever Flowers carries lush plants, orchids, corporate gifts, wedding flowers and decorations, creative gifts, greeting cards, home decor items, quality chocolates, locally made taste treats, books by Virgin Islands authors and more.

Gift baskets are a specialty at Forever Flowers. Gigi and the accommodating staff members have a knack for assembling eye-catching baskets designed to delight recipients.

Here’s an idea:

Whenever friends or family members visit St. Thomas, surprise them with a “Welcome to the Islands” basket filled with locally made items. The Forever Flowers team will be happy to custom-assemble and deliver your gift to Flamboyan Resort, or wherever hotel guests are staying on island.

Over time, Forever Flowers blossomed into a family-run business with daughter, Christina, joining the staff. Now the operation also includes Gigi’s daughter-in-law, Natasha.

Firm believers in giving back to the community, the Quetel family members also are active with the Humane Society of St. Thomas.

An early territorial senator, he successfully lobbied to create the position of Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives, which he held for a total of two decades.
