Whether you’re in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands as a visitor, a local — or always in spirit — Coconut Post keeps you posted on fun-filled news ’n views. Published monthly by Flamboyan On The Bay Resort & Villas, we’re focused on sharing our people, places, and fun things happening in paradise.

April, 2020

So much more than a unique tropical resort, Flamboyan On The Bay is a proud member of the St. Thomas community.

Although the hotel is currently closed to vacationers, important services continue — including daily care and feeding of the domestic and feral feline population residing on the property at the Cat Sanctuary.

Additionally — as a convenience to all island residents — a wash, dry and fold laundry service is available at a special rate of $15 for up to 30-pounds.

This service is available Monday through Saturday. Those dropping off laundry in the reception area at 9 a.m. and picking up by 5 p.m. may enjoy same-day service on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

The ATM machine also is available in the reception area.

The lending library operates on the “take a book, leave a book” honor system.

Please note: until further notice, office hours are
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday;
Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Closed Sundays.

COCO BITS
A bit about tipping

During the pandemic, island restaurants and coffee shops are limited to take-out service only. Whether it’s a single sandwich “to go” or you place dinner orders to feed the entire family, the hard-working servers, bartenders, and baristas assisting you are dependent on tips to survive. Customers are encouraged to add a generous gratuity to each check. Thank you for helping to support our valued hospitality workers.

The coffee shop and restaurant operate separately from the resort. For the latest information, click to follow Root 42 Bar and Grill and Northside Grind on Facebook.
