During the “Month of Love,” Flamboyan Resort is happy to share with readers of Coconut Post how much we love our neighbor: Old Stone Farmhouse.

When hotel guests ask about a fine dining restaurant to celebrate special occasions — or a romantic spot to “pop the question” — we happily recommend Old Stone Farmhouse. And it’s just a quarter-mile down the road on Route 42.

We know from personal experience Old Stone Farmhouse is THE place where culinary artistry meets timeless charm and hospitality. General Manager Barbara Saracena and the terrific staff do everything possible to make each guest’s visit memorable.

True to its name, award-winning Old Stone Farmhouse is steeped in island history. Two centuries ago the restored building was part of a Danish sugar plantation replete with graceful arches, two-foot-thick native stone walls and majestic rafters.

Today, multi-room seating ensures intimate dining — or opt for the welcoming outdoor courtyard.

Regarding the MENU,  tempting starters include crispy fried calamari, French baguette, scallops St. Jacques, steamed mussels, cold lobster tower, or a bistro salad featuring mixed greens, shaved onion, tomatoes, and watermelon with red wine vinaigrette.

Popular entrées include Filet Oscar, pan-fried Parisian gnocchi, seared black grouper, and honey garlic chicken breast. The chef offers nightly specials, always featuring the freshest ingredients.

SUNDAY BRUNCH favorites feature classic or avocado Benedict, as well as French toast, steak and eggs and other delights.

Old Stone Farmhouse also is known for SIGNATURE COCKTAILS and an extensive WINE LIST.
