Throughout the tropics, particularly on St. Thomas, the island comes alive each July with the brilliant red-orange glow of flamboyant trees. The bright flowers on these “flaming trees” remain in bloom through the summer months —and sometimes longer.
It is in honor of the flamboyant trees thriving on the grounds that Flamboyan On The Bay selected its stylized name.

Another less flashy gift of Mother Nature found on the lush seven-and-a-half-acre property is the Moringa tree.
Often called the “Miracle Tree,” the moringa flourishes with little soil and water. Nevertheless, a serving of moringa contains all nine essential amino acids. The leaves have seven times more vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas.
A healthy natural supplement, you can eat moringa leaves directly from the branch or crush and powder them to add to meals.
Moringa contains calcium, protein, and iron to help the body heal and build muscle. Packed with antioxidants moringa protects cells from damage and may boost the immune system, as well.
Flamboyan On The Bay Resort & Villas encourages guests to stroll the grounds and photograph the amazing array of flowers, plants, and trees flourishing on the property.
