Proprietors Trish and Tom Dahl and the creative team at Northside Grind continually add new items to the tempting menu of salads, sandwiches, beverages, baked goods, and desserts.

One of their most recent additions came directly from a customer request.

Said Trish, “To celebrate the birthday of Christian Archer, one of our favorite customers, his sister, Mallory, asked us to make his favorite sandwich and name it in his honor.” What a clever gift idea!

The surprise gastronomic treat was presented to Christian at a festive gathering of friends and family. The “Snarch Sandwich” was so well received, it became a ‘special’ at the coffee shop.

Happily, it remains available by request. The “Snarch Sandwich” features hot, thinly sliced London Broil topped with melted Vermont cheddar, spicy jalapeños, and house-made horseradish aioli on a toasted roll. Delicious!

Northside Grind is conveniently located on the grounds of Flamboyan Resort, Due to current COVID restrictions, entry remains limited to employees. Customers are invited to step beyond the garden gate and relax outdoors in designated seating areas.

If the lounge area is in use, guests are invited to take food and beverages to the hotel’s poolside lounge area for additional seating.

However, iguanas tend to enjoy snacking on hibiscus and are consequently drawn to bright red colors. With that in mind, watch your toes if you’re sporting vibrant red nail polish.
